Dr. Qureshi is executive director, Zeenat Qureshi Institutes, and professor of Neurology at University of Missouri, Columbia. He has written over 670 scientific publications in prestigious journals including the New England Journal of Medicine, Lancet, Archives of Internal Medicine, Critical Care Medicine, Neurology, American Journal of Medicine, and Circulation. In addition, he has made over 2000 presentations in various national and international meetings. He has served as an invited speaker at numerous national and international forums. He has also been invited as visiting professor to universities in the United States and abroad. He is the editor of several textbooks and serves on editorial boards for several peer-review journals. He was the principal investigator of a large multinational clinical trial funded by National Institutes of Health. He has travelled extensively and written about Ebola virus disease epidemic after his visit to West Africa during the epidemic. His group led the study on Ebola virus disease survivors. He was also the editor for book on Zika virus disease. He laid the foundation of the Zeenat Qureshi Institutes in several countries including United States, China, Guinea, and Turkey. Since its inauguration, the institutes have led the way in cutting edge research in epidemiology, clinical trials, and basic research.

Dr. Omar Saeed graduated from medical school in Pakistan after which he pursued his interest in the field of medicine focusing on neurology and neuroimaging. He was given the opportunity to work with Dr. Adnan Qureshi at the Zeenat Qureshi Stroke Institute where he worked as a clinical research fellow. His main interests were stroke, intracerebral hemorrhage and neuroimaging among others. During his time at the stroke institute Dr. Saeed has co-authored several scientific publications in prestigious journals including Journal of Neurosurgery, Journal of Cerebrovascular disease, Journal of Neuroimaging and Journal of Vascular and Interventional Neurology. He was also given the opportunity to present at both national and international forums including the International Stroke Conference and The World Masters China Tour and Neuro Interventional International Forum. Furthermore Dr. Saeed has co-authored numerous research abstracts accepted to both the International Stroke Conference and the American Academy of Neurology Conference. His future hopes are to continue focusing on both the clinical and research side of medicine.

Dr Uzma Syed is a board-certified Infectious Disease specialist, Chair of the COVID-19 Task Force, Director of the Antimicrobial Stewardship Center of Excellence at Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center and partner at South Shore Infectious Diseases and Travel Medicine Consultants. Dr Syed is well-published in pneumonia-related research and has been leading several COVID-19 clinical trials. Dr Syed is a fellow of the Infectious Diseases Society of America as well as member of their Inclusion, Diversity, Access & Equity Task Force. Dr Syed holds regular town halls educating the public in order to build vaccine confidence across diverse communities. Dr Syed was featured on Tedx for her talk on COVID-19 The Ripple Effect from neighborhoods to beyond. Dr Syed cares passionately about education. She is the founder & CEO of a 501c3 organization Align Us Inc, which provides career mentorship or high school students. She teaches students of all ages as well as medical residents about her specialty. She’s a community and youth leader with a focus on teen initiatives as a leading member of the Interfaith Council of Syosset-Woodbury-Jericho. Dr Syed co-founded the Eid Holiday Coalition Long Island and founded the National Eid Coalition helping over two dozen school districts obtain Eid holidays. Dr Syed serves on the Nassau County Police Commissioner’s Community Council, she was recognized by the Nassau County Legislature as a female trailblazer and received the Woman of Distinction award by the town of Oyster Bay. Her humanitarian work has spanned from refugee resettlement to annual school supply and holiday toy drives to serving at soup kitchens. Dr Syed has volunteered with UNICEF for children’s rights, the Global Youth Assembly and the United Nations to help promote mobile health to underserved countries.
