About the Author

Ana María Ríos Boeta

Degree in veterinary science from the Complutense University of Madrid. PhD in Veterinary Sciences and Master’s in Research Methodology in Health Sciences from Alfonso X University. Certified in dermatology by AVEPA (Spanish Small Animal Veterinary Association) and recipient of a master’s in dermatology from the ESAVS (European School of Advanced Veterinary Studies).

Currently, she heads the Dermatology Service of the Puchol Veterinary Hospital (Madrid). Ana Maria Ríos is a full member of the ESVD (European Society of Veterinary Dermatology), a founding member of GEDA (Specialist Dermatology Group of AVEPA), and has been a board member of AVEPA and President of the GEDA. She is the creator and coordinator of the veterinary dermatology teaching website www.cuestiondpiel.wordpress.com.
